Privacy Notice
DraftAR PH is a student startup prototype that turns house plans into 3D models and AR previews for draftsmen and their clients in the Philippines. This notice explains what personal information the app keeps, why, where, for how long, and how you can see or delete it, following the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173).
Who is responsible
The DraftAR PH team runs this pilot. Contact: see below.
What we keep
If you use DraftAR PH as a draftsman
- Account: your email address, the name you give (optional), how you sign in (email and password, or Google), and an account ID. Passwords are handled by Google Firebase Authentication; we never see them.
- Projects (when you are signed in with a verified email): the house designs and the details you type in, such as project name, client name, location and notes.
- Short client links: a copy of the design at the time you created the link, its project name, and the client's name only if you chose "Include client name". The location is never included.
- On your own device: projects, thumbnails, settings and recent activity are stored in your browser. They stay there until you delete them or clear the browser's site data.
If you are a client who received a link
- You do not need an account to view a design.
- If you send feedback, we keep your answer (approve, request changes or comment), your message, the name you type (optional) and the time it was sent, so your draftsman can read it.
For security
- To block automated abuse, the app uses Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise (Firebase App Check), which looks at technical signals from your browser and device. Google's privacy policy applies to it: policies.google.com/privacy.
- Google Firebase keeps technical logs, which can include IP addresses, to run and protect the service.
We do not use advertising, we do not sell personal information, and we do not use tracking or analytics cookies.
"Notify me when Pro launches"
- If you join the list on the home page, we keep your email address, what you do (draftsman, architect, engineer, student or other), whether you chose monthly or yearly, and the time you joined.
- We use it only to send you one email when Pro launches, and to count how many people are interested. It is never sold or shared.
- Nobody can read the list from the website; only the DraftAR PH team can, in the Firebase console. We delete it after the launch email is sent, or earlier if you ask us (see Contact).
Why we keep it
- To let you sign in, save your projects and open them on your other devices.
- To let you share a design with a client and receive the client's answer.
- To keep the service secure and stop abuse.
Where it is kept and who can see it
- Online data is stored with Google Firebase (Google Cloud), which may process it in data centers outside the Philippines.
- Only you can see your account data and projects.
- Anyone who has a short link can view that design, like a forwarded photo, until the link expires or is turned off.
- Only the draftsman who created a link can read the feedback sent through it.
How long we keep it
- Account data and projects: until you delete them or delete your account.
- Short links stop working after 180 days, or sooner if the draftsman turns them off. The stored copy and its feedback are deleted when the draftsman deletes the feedback or their account.
Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act you may ask to be informed, to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to its processing, and to get a copy of it.
- Draftsmen: edit or delete projects in the app; download a project file from a project's menu; delete everything with Settings โ Account โ Delete my account.
- Clients: ask your draftsman to delete your feedback (they can delete it in Client Reviews), or contact us.
- You can also complain to the National Privacy Commission.
